The Bangalore geckoella is a nocturnal, ground-living gecko endemic to India. It is recorded from the outskirts of Bengaluru and adjacent regions, along the borders of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in the Melagiri hills. It is small for its genus, reaching about 5 cm in snout-to-vent length, and is often confused with the Kollegal bent-toed gecko (Wikipedia, general species account).
It lives in dense leaf litter and hides under stones on the forest floor of mixed deciduous forest on hill slopes, and it lays eggs.
