Boiga flaviviridis

The yellow-green cat snake is a mildly venomous, rear-fanged colubrid found in India. It is nocturnal and lives in trees, and it probably feeds on lizards, frogs and small birds. It is easily recognised by its high number of belly scales together with its colouring, especially the uniform belly, and a proportionately shorter tail than in other species of this group (Wikipedia, general species account).

The Reptile Database lists Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Telangana. The diet is an assumption in the source.
