Kurixalus yangi, Yang's frill-limbed tree frog, is found in India, Myanmar and China's Yunnan Province. It lives in evergreen forests between 354 and 1,478 metres above sea level. Adult males measure 31.6-34.7 mm in snout-vent length (Wikipedia, general species account).
The back is brown, with yellow and green on the flanks and spots on the upper abdomen. The frog has vomerine teeth and a gold iris. The female lays eggs on leaves over water so that the tadpoles fall into the water below when they hatch. It is named for Professor Datong Yang of the Chinese Academy of Science for his dedication to China's herpetofauna (Wikipedia, general species account).
