Range

Northern Indian Ocean; after breeding from the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden to the Gulf of Oman, Pakistan and western India

The Persian shearwater is a seabird of the shearwater family, formerly lumped with Audubon's shearwater. After breeding, the northern subspecies ranges from the southern Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Somali coast across the south of the Arabian Peninsula to the Gulf of Oman, Pakistan and western India (Wikipedia, general species account).

More breeding colonies probably lie undiscovered elsewhere in the northern Indian Ocean, so the total population probably includes more than 10,000 mature individuals. The cached account is short and gives no description, diet or breeding information. SoIB 2023 lists it as a winter migrant, an omnivore of wetland, without a priority category (Wikipedia, general species account; SoIB 2023).
