It perches on shrubs 0.5-1.4 m above the ground and has also been seen on tea plantations (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is a small species with a male snout-vent length of 20-23 mm. There is a faint dark grey stripe between the eyes and a pair of black, irregularly shaped spots on either side of the rear back near the groin. Males produce a single type of call, made of short, closely packed pulses, and like other Raorchestes the species breeds through direct development (Wikipedia, general species account).
