Trimeresurus yunnanensis
Range
Southern China (Yunnan and south-western Sichuan); the Reptile Database also lists north Myanmar and Meghalaya and Nagaland in India
The Yunnan bamboo pit viper is a venomous pit viper that Wikipedia describes as endemic to China, found in southern China (Yunnan and south-western Sichuan). The type locality is Tengchong County in Yunnan. It has 19 or 21 rows of back scales at midbody and 9–11 upper lip scales (Wikipedia, general species account).
The Reptile Database also lists Meghalaya and Nagaland, up to 2,845 m, so its Indian occurrence rests on that source. The account used here gives no information on its habits.
