Uperodon anamalaiensis, the Anamalai dot frog or reddish-brown microhylid frog, is a narrow-mouthed frog found in South India. Until it was rediscovered in the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary in 2010 it had been reported only once. Several populations were then found in different habitats within Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in Kerala and Tamil Nadu (Wikipedia, general species account).

The back is light to dark brown with two yellow lines and scattered yellow spots, and the underside is brown with scattered white spots, which gives it its common name. It calls loudly in the monsoon season and hides under stones and logs on the forest floor, or in tree holes, for the rest of the year (Wikipedia, general species account).
