Amolops chakrataensis, the Dehradun stream frog or Chakrata torrent frog, is endemic to India and known only from its type locality near Chakrata in Uttarakhand (formerly Uttar Pradesh), near the Tiger Falls. It was described from a single specimen collected in 1985, and after being lost for 25 years it was rediscovered in 2011 at its type locality, which reflects the lack of fieldwork in the area (Wikipedia, general species account).

The snout is obtusely pointed. The back is slaty brown, or light green with dark minute spots, and a dark brown streak along the edge of the snout is bounded by a white fold above the eardrum. The upper lip is golden yellow, the lower lip has brown patches, and the limbs have brown crossbars (Wikipedia, general species account).
