The Asiatic toad or Chusan Island toad (Bufo gargarizans) is a toad of East Asia. Its range runs across the Russian Far East, central, northern and north-eastern China, North Korea and Japan, and it lives in a wide range of habitats including forests, meadows and cultivated land (Wikipedia, general species account).

It was not known from India until surveys in 2014-15 in the Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh, near the border with China, turned up specimens identified as this species, the first distribution record for India (Journal of Threatened Taxa).
