Battersby's caecilian (Indotyphlus battersbyi) is a slender caecilian endemic to the Western Ghats. It has a flesh-coloured body that makes it look very much like a large earthworm. The total length is 17-23.8 cm (Wikipedia, general species account).
The eyes are concealed under the skin and only feebly visible. It is also known as the tailless caecilian because the body ends in a blunt shield, and the vent is transverse, rather than longitudinal as in most other Indian caecilians (Wikipedia, general species account).
