Range
Bhutan and some adjoining areas in India
The Bhutan laughingthrush is commonly found in Bhutan and some adjoining areas in India. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the streaked laughingthrush, hence its alternate name of Himalayan streaked laughingthrush (Wikipedia, general species account).
The cached account is short and gives no description, measurements, diet, habitat or breeding information. SoIB 2023 treats it as an Eastern Himalayan endemic and rates it a High conservation priority, a resident of non-specialised habitat that eats invertebrates, with a Very Restricted range of about 6,550 km² and insufficient data on trends (Wikipedia, general species account; SoIB 2023).
