Blanford's Snowfinch

Blanford's, or the plain-backed, snowfinch is a bird of the sparrow family found in China, India, Nepal and Pakistan, in temperate grassland. The species epithet and common name commemorate the English zoologist William Thomas Blanford (Wikipedia, general species account).

The cached account is short and gives no description, measurements, diet or breeding information. SoIB 2023 lists it as a resident of alpine and cold desert that eats plants and seeds, without a priority category (Wikipedia, general species account; SoIB 2023).
