Habitat
Most types of water body; largely aquatic
Range

Euphlyctis hexadactylus, the green pond frog, Indian green frog or Indian five-fingered frog, is a common, largely aquatic frog found in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, in most types of water body. The nominal species likely represents a species complex (Wikipedia, general species account).
Its diet is unusual: plant leaves and some flowers make up a large part of what adults eat. The head is moderate and the snout rather pointed, with an indistinct canthus rostralis, a space between the eyes much narrower than the upper eyelid, and a distinct tympanum as large as the eye. Young frogs are beautifully striped (Wikipedia, general species account).
