Homalopsis hardwickii

Homalopsis hardwickii is a water snake possibly recorded from north-eastern India (Reptile Database). The Reptile Database says its status is uncertain, that it is known only from a few museum specimens of uncertain origin, and that the Zoological Survey of India checklist of 2024 does not list it for India, so its place on the Indian list should be checked.

The Reptile Database gives the type locality as simply India. The account used here gives no further detail on habitat, diet or breeding.
