The pale-chinned flycatcher, formerly the pale-chinned blue flycatcher (IOC list up to 2023) and Brook's flycatcher, is a medium-sized flycatcher 15.5–18 cm long. The sexes are similar, dull bluish-grey on the upperparts, with a rufous chest, a whitish throat and white below; the males lack the intense blue colours of many other mainland Asian Cyornis species. Its nesting season is April to June (Wikipedia, general species account).

The cached account does not describe its range. SoIB 2023 rates it a Low conservation priority, a resident forest bird that eats invertebrates, with a Moderate range of about 96,800 km² and insufficient data on the long-term trend (Wikipedia, general species account; SoIB 2023).
