The Rajasthan toad-headed lizard, also called the Laungwala toad-headed agama, is an agamid lizard. The external ear opening is very small, the eardrum is deeply set, and the toes have fringes of flat, pointed scales. It can reach a snout-to-vent length of 7 cm (Wikipedia, general species account).
In India it is found in the Rajasthan Desert, in Jaisalmer District; the Reptile Database also lists adjacent Sindh in Pakistan. It lives on the ground and does not dig burrows, but can bury itself in sand by shivering. It preys on insects of the orders Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera and Orthoptera, and also on small lizards.
