The Andaman green pigeon is a green pigeon of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, split by many authorities from the pompadour green pigeon complex. It usually occurs singly or in small groups, and its flight is fast and direct, with regular wing beats and an occasional sharp flick of the wings, as in pigeons generally (Wikipedia, general species account).

It eats the seeds and fruits of a wide variety of plants, builds a stick nest in a tree and lays two white eggs. SoIB 2023 treats it as an island endemic and resident forest bird that eats fruit and nectar, rates it a Moderate conservation priority, and gives a Restricted range of about 6,700 km² and insufficient data on trends (Wikipedia, general species account; SoIB 2023).
