The Sind krait is a highly venomous elapid found in north-western India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is generally about 1 m long, with some specimens as long as 1.8 m. It has an egg-shaped head with a short snout, small eyes with vertically oval pupils, yellow or white upper lips and a pointed tail tip. Its most visible feature is its narrow white bands, which may be yellow or grey depending on the colour variation, and the young have white spots over a third of the body instead of bands (Wikipedia, general species account).
It can be confused with the common krait. It is primarily nocturnal and often crosses paths with people and domestic animals. In India it has been recorded from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab and Rajasthan.
