Bungarus suzhenae is a venomous krait. The lower half of the head, including the lower lip scales and the snout tip, is yellowish-white. Herpetologist Joseph B. Slowinski died from a bite of this species in 2001, while leading an expedition in northern Myanmar; it was first thought to have been a bite from a juvenile black-and-white banded krait (Wikipedia, general species account).

In captivity it preys on eels such as the Asian swamp eel and on small snakes such as the yellow-spotted keelback, but refuses mice and frogs. The Reptile Database lists Nagaland and Manipur in India.
