Gekko mizoramensis is a parachute gecko endemic to Mizoram state in India, discovered in the Indo-Burma region in Lawngtlai town in May 2022. Molecular evidence shows a 7–14% sequence divergence from its closest known relative, Gekko popaense, which lives on the other side of the Arakan hill range (Wikipedia, general species account).

All specimens were found in the town area at heights of 1.5 to 3.6 m above ground, becoming active at dusk and hunting insects attracted by light sources. Its habitat was also commonly home to Calotes irawadi, the tokay gecko and the Asian house gecko.
