The Patkai green tree frog (Gracixalus patkaiensis) is a small tree frog native to Arunachal Pradesh. The paper that described it gives its length as 23.6-26.5 mm. It has a green back with irregular brown spots, a dark streak along the back and white marks on the sides of the body, with a slender build and a long head (Wikipedia, general species account).
Little is known of its mating season, but its call supposedly sounds like an insect's. It was discovered by Indian and German researchers on a herpetological expedition in Namdapha Tiger Reserve, and it is the first member of the genus Gracixalus found in India (Wikipedia, general species account).
