Sikkim Water Shrew

The elegant water shrew, Nectogale elegans, is a shrew in the subfamily Soricinae and the only species in the genus Nectogale. It lives in Sikkim and China. The Indian form is also listed under the name Nectogale sikhimensis, so this entry uses the account for the elegant water shrew in its wider sense (Wikipedia, general species account).

The cached account gives no description, diet, habitat or breeding detail, so this entry records only the species' identity and range (Wikipedia, general species account).
