Size

Up to about 43mm; males up to 33mm

Kurixalus naso, known as the uphill tree frog, long-snouted treefrog or Annandale's high altitude frog, is found in north-eastern India, southern Tibet and Bhutan. A related but unnamed species lives in Myanmar and Yunnan (China), and it is possible that Kurixalus yangi is a junior synonym of K. naso (Wikipedia, general species account).

It is a small frog, growing to about 43 mm in snout-vent length, though one set of authors reports males up to 33 mm. The snout is noticeably pointed and the limbs have serrated dermal fringes. The chin and breast are granular, the back is generally brownish mixed with dark markings, and the underside is shaded towards the rear with dark spots. Males have a single, internal vocal sac (Wikipedia, general species account).
