The Sikkim treecreeper is a treecreeper found in Bhutan, Nepal and north-east India. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It inhabits broadleaved and mixed forests, where it usually forages at the middle and upper levels (Wikipedia, general species account).
The form manipurensis of southern Manipur and south-western Burma has a rich cinnamon throat and breast, and molecular evidence usually now treats it as a separate species, Hume's treecreeper. The cached account gives no measurements or breeding information. SoIB 2023 treats the Sikkim treecreeper as a Himalayan endemic and rates it a Moderate conservation priority, a resident forest bird with a Restricted range of about 13,900 km² and insufficient data on trends (Wikipedia, general species account; SoIB 2023).
